When Allison’s mom had an ultrasound a few weeks before she was due, they cheerily told her all looked well and that it looked like the baby would be about 7 pounds, 6 ounces. Well, that must be an inexact science, because two weeks later Allison was born weighing 10 pounds, 9 ounces! She is gorgeous- soft rosy skin, and wonderfully filled out. She was determined to stay awake for the session- don’t let the first image fool you! She has the most expressive, alert eyes, though, so it was great to get some wide awake images of her. Her family has rabbits as pets, so of course we had to use my new stuffed bunny in a few. The rabbits are house trained, and hopped around during the session. I’m used to family dogs and cats wandering in and out as I shoot, but having a rabbit visitor was a first. He just wanted to check things out, and then went on his way.
