Jelani- such a beautiful baby boy! He has caramel-colored skin, long dark hair and incredible eyelashes (don’t the boys always get the best eyelashes?!). We did his session in his great-grandma’s apartment, and you could see how proud of him she was. His great-grandma loves her family, and all her children and most of her grandchildren live close and visit often. Their parties and get-togethers are highlights for her, and I just know this little guy is going to love being a part of a big, close family.

He wasn’t so sure about missing the fun by relaxing at his session, but with time and patience we got him settled down and camera ready. I love the sweet, simple images we got of him: timeless and pure, focusing on his innocence and the details of of his brand-newness:
