I’ve been looking forward to Ava’s newborn pictures ever since we did her Mama’s maternity photosession.
She’s just gorgeous (of course she is, with her good-looking parents!). Her mom’s vision for the session was to use the soft colors that she used in decorating her home- creams, whites, blush pink and taupe. They’re also colors that work very well with baby’s delicate skin, so they are perfect colors to use in newborn pictures. She had done some Etsy shopping (love that site!), and had a few lovely, lacy headbands to use. Here’s one that I loved:
she’s such a pretty, delicate baby, isn’t she?!
More of her newborn pictures from her session:
She wasn’t crazy about having her clothes off, so we did much of her session while she was wrapped up snugly. That made her happy, so we worked with her until she fell into a deep sleep at last. Then we were able to do some of the cute poses that I love to be a part of all sessions of newborn pictures-
She didn’t last long in that deep sleep, but once they’re out like that, it’s easy to get a lot of variety in a short time. I loved being able to capture that perfect skin and those back wrinkles! I just love the open lace of the wrap from one of my new favorite vendors, The Knitting Bitty).
She has the best eyelashes….I’m sure they will be long and thick by the time she’s a toddler if they’re this long already!
It was a pleasure to see you again and to meet your beautiful daughter, S. family- she’s perfect! Thank you for choosing me for your maternity and newborn pictures.
