Monroe’s parents have been waiting a long time for her, and they are clearly smitten with her. I think she already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger! This photo session was a gift from her aunt, who lives in D.C. I love the thoughtfulness of that, and also love that her aunt will be able to see lots of pictures of her now, too. Here are just a few of my favorites-

her dad’s one request was that we incorporate his deputy sheriff’s hat somehow- it will be fun to see her next to it in the future to see how she’s grown (as you can see, she didn’t want to miss anything when her dad was around!)

These pictures were taken at Monroe’s Mattawan home- all newborn photo sessions are done in the family’s home. I serve the Kalamazoo and Portage area, but travel all over southwest lower Michigan.
