A sunset maternity silhouette picture was at the top of her wish list. And after a week of grey, rainy weather, Mother Nature provided just what we needed for a gorgeous one! The evening we met was perfect for it- dry, warm and just enough clouds in the sky for a dramatic, colorful sunset. Of course, A.’s perfect baby bump made for a great silhouette. Love it when it all comes together!

We met at a new spot for me this year- the Paw Paw Prairie Fen. It’s a lovely spot, with a variety of fields, trees, ponds and paths that make for an interesting variety of backgrounds. It’s also quiet and away from a lot of hustle and bustle, which makes it perfect for a maternity photo session. A. and her husband were up for anything and they have great senses of humor, so they were such fun to work with!

Thanks for meeting me and allowing me to capture your pregnancy- I can’t wait to meet your daughter in a few months!
