Happy Mother’s Day to all you amazing moms! I meet so many of you in the course of doing sessions, and I’m in awe of your love and devotion to your little ones, your patience, creativity and dedication, not to mention the hard work you put in!
My little Mother’s Day gift to you are links to two ‘recharge your batteries, inspire you to keep at it’ pieces. If you’re in that spot where you need a little dose of inspiration, these are two sure-fire ways to get one. I’ve posted them before, but it’s been a while-
First, a video by Gretchen Rubin, a blogger and writer who studies happiness and contentment. I’m on the ‘years are short’ end of parenting, but oh, how I remember how long the days could be. It’s less than two minutes, but packs an emotional punch:
Next, one of my all-time favorite blog posts (‘Don’t Carpe Diem’) by the witty, irreverent and insightful Glennon Melton of Momastery. It went viral and was republished on the Huffington Post, I’m sure because so many of us can relate:

I’ll leave you with pictures of some of the wonderful mamas and babies I’ve been blessed to photograph lately- aren’t they beautiful?
One last note- if you’re an expectant mom, check out the maternity mini sessions coming up in June- there are still a few spots left! Contact me here to schedule your spot!
