~when a child is born, so are the grandparents
They live half a world away, but they weren’t going to let that get in the way of being there for the birth of their first grandchild. Baby Adrianna’s mom and dad met when Susana came to Kalamazoo from Peru to go to college, then married and settled here. Susana’s family is back in Peru, and her parents were determined not to miss Adrianna’s birth. So the grandparents-to-be traveled here a few weeks before she was due, and waited out the days until she arrived, all 5 lbs 2 oz of perfect baby girl. They’ll be able to stay a few months to help out and to get to know her. Lucky Adrianna, to be surrounded by family who is so proud of her and love her so much already! It’s always a pleasure to include family in a newborn session, but having grandparents there to make it a three generation session was just a delight. It was so special to hear her grandma singing to her in Spanish….lullabies have the power to calm in every language.
Here’s a sampling of pictures from our time together~
