A baby boy for the P. family- I was so happy to hear their news! I had photographed their newborn daughter a few years ago, and they were the sweetest family and so much fun to work with. Their new addition fit right in. He was calm, content and easy to work with, even when he was awake. I love the above shot of him in his daddy’s hands- you can feel the contentment and see it in that gaze. I always love experienced daddies…you can tell they have the baby-holding down, and babies feel so comfortable in a confident hold.
They’re big MSU fans (and I’ll photograph MSU memorabilia, even with two sons at U of M : ) – just don’t tell them! Here he’s wearing a baby boy Spartan hat while his sister wears the whole cheerleading outfit- so cute. The cocoon he’s wearing in the other image was hand knit for him by his Grandma, and I love the rich colors she used.
Then we did a few of Mom and Dad with their new baby boy…so glad they wanted to be in some of the pictures with him.
and of course we had to have the baby boy on his own, and he did so well for his photos all by himself.
Thank you so much, P. family, for choosing me to photograph your adorable baby boy! It’s always an honor and a pleasure to see families grow.
I’m currently scheduling newborn sessions for June and beyond, but always leave a little room on the calendar to work in last minute appointments.
