You know full well as I do the value of sisters’ affections: There is nothing like it in this world. Charlotte Bronte
When it comes to newborn pictures with siblings, you can never be sure how it’s going to go. Big sister Natalie is energetic and outgoing, so I wasn’t sure if she would want to sit still with her new baby sister. At two, she’s a little young for holding a baby reliably, but with her mom spotting her, she did wonderfully! She adores her little sister, and covered her with kisses and cooed softly to her whenever she cried…just melted your heart to watch the two of them together. This is one of my new favorite ‘newborn pictures with siblings’- And she even had the patience to give me more! An assortment of the two of them- What can I say? Natalie and Kora made my job easy. Newborn pictures with siblings are one of the top-requested pictures in a newborn session where there are older brothers and sisters, but it isn’t always easy. Having a new baby in the house can be hard on a toddler or preschooler, and they may be acting out just a bit as they realize this baby isn’t leaving any time soon. It’s also sometimes hard to not have the spotlight be on them, especially for up-to-now only child. Thankfully, for these two it was smooth sailing. Kora did so well on her own, too… Love this bunting and headband set from Skalibrags Stitches.
