It’s always such a honor to have a family come back again for another session, and so much fun to see how the kids have grown and changed. I’ve been photographing this family since older brother was a newborn (here, here, here, here and here) and have been watching Sophie grow up the past (amazingly fast) year. How can she possibly be taking steps already? Her gorgeous brown eyes remind me so much of her brother’s, and I love her impish little grin. Happy birthday, sweet girl!

We ended the session with a cake smash, and wow, did she ever smash that cake. She had her own unique methods- I can’t say I’ve ever seen anyone use their feet before, but she made it a whole body experience!
