Have to share a few from the SPCA’s Dog-o-ween event a few weeks ago. There was a great turnout, with lots of dogs of all sizes and shapes. Many were in costume, and it was so much fun to see the creativity of the owners and the tolerance (or in some cases, lack thereof) of the dogs for their costumes.
My favorite group of the day- dog model material, with the way they all sat and looked at the same time, and kept their hats on!
Some dogs seemed happier about their costumes than others-
Sometimes less is more- he looks so handsome in his bandanna-
and now for a feminine one-
the happiest pictures of the day for me were the ones of the dogs who had just been adopted. Here’s a little guy that I would have happily taken home with me-
and just in case you’re looking for a new best friend, the SPCA still has dogs available to adopt. Here’s just one of the dogs that didn’t go home with someone that day- isn’t she beautiful?
Thanks to everyone who brought their dogs to be photographed and supported the SPCA. It was such a fun day and such a privilege to be involved in it!
