Otto

A fur baby instead of a newborn baby this time! I was contacted by American Brittany Rescue and asked to take pictures of their foster dogs occasionally, because a good picture on the website can help a dog to be adopted more quickly. Of course I said yes, and I met Otto and his foster mom outdoors on a beautiful spring evening to update his profile picture.

American Brittany Rescue has a network of volunteers who rescue and provide foster homes for Brittanys who need a new home for a variety of reasons, and they work hard to find new homes for these dogs. All the dogs are spayed or neutered and given veterinary care and vaccinations. Brittanys are happy, intelligent dogs who make excellent family pets. They like to be part of the family, so need to be indoor dogs. They are medium size when full grown, with easy care coats. Their energy level ranges from mellow to very active, but they do need daily exercise.

As for Otto, I fell for him immediately. He’s sweet, gentle and easygoing. He came from a family with young boys, and is great with kids. He has good house manners and gets along with cats. He walked on a leash like a dream, even with all the outdoor sights and smells to distract him. So, pass the word to anyone who might be looking for a new companion- I’m pulling for him to find a new family quickly!
