Max was a little overdue, and then ended up spending a bit of extra time in the hospital, so he was three weeks old by the time we were able to get his session in. He was possibly the most alert newborn I’ve worked with at the start of the session. His eyes are so striking- huge and dark and beautiful! His mom said that was the first thing the nurses all remarked on, too. So cute to see those big eyes watching everything you do! He did decide he needed a nap too, so in addition to adorable open-eyed images we got some curly, more typical newborn poses. The best of both worlds! Meet Max and his amazing eyes:
