Michigan’s unpredictable weather encouraged us to be flexible in getting this session done, but we finally managed! When we were first scheduled, it was over 100 degrees for days at a time, and hot sweaty kids + photography sessions aren’t the best combination, to say the least. So, we decided to break things up into two parts and first get the boys done inside. I hadn’t seen them since Ryan’s newborn session, and he and Aidan have both grown so much in that time. Aidan is so lively and full of fun that he keeps me laughing every time-

Our plan for an outdoor family session had to wait for a dry fall evening, but the wait was worth it. The colors were so pretty, the weather was gorgeous, and mom had coordinated everyone perfectly for great family images in the fall colors.  I love these outfits with the colors of the fields and the leaves. Aidan’s imagination was really captured by this spot. There are rumors of underground tunnels in the area, and he did his best to find them. So much fun to watch him explore!

Such a treat to see you again, C. family (and Aidan, I’m keeping my eyes open for tunnels in the woods. If I find out where they are, I’ll let you know, and we’ll go exploring!)
