What to wear 2

Here’s another idea for combining outfits to make a group look good. These looks are based on taking one printed item, then pulling colors from the print to dress others in the group. The first uses clothing from Old Navy and Gap-

Puppies plus

The puppies from this post have some new additions to their household- more cuteness! There’s a new puppy, Andrew, and two new kittens-

All two and all boy

I last saw Mr. R. a year ago, and since then he’s grown up to be a kid instead of a toddler. He’s all about trucks, tools, the sand box and being on the move- two year old boy all the way!

The definition on this collage says ‘boy: son, a noise often accompanied by dirt, a ball of energy’. Yep, that’s about right-

He has the most adorable expressions. Here he’s showing us his wink-

Filly

(Partly for Amy, who has Filly’s sister) Introducing Filly- our newest puppy for Paws with a Cause. A bit older than the puppies we usually get- we’ve only had her a few weeks, and she’s 5 months old already. But she’s fit right in with us, and is a sweetheart. She’s living proof of a type of Lab I didn’t know existed- one who doesn’t chew everything in sight! She also came pre-housebroken- I could get used to that. She is social to a fault, and acts like anyone she meets is a long lost relative, even people she’s never seen before. You have to love that Lab enthusiasm~

She would like you to know that she’s been working out since this picture and is now much more svelte : )

A sister for Miss I.

Miss I. is a familiar face if you’ve been to the website, and I have a feeling her new sister will be there shortly! Here’s the new big sister’s picture from last summer-

What to wear

It can be so difficult to decide what to wear for portraits- I know even photographers struggle with dressing their own families! A few of the fashionistas among them have generously shared some visuals of group outfit ideas, and I’ve come up with some of my own,  so I’m going to share a few from time to time. Sometimes just seeing an idea is all it takes to start your wheels turning…

These first groups take their inspiration from a color family- pick a color and then dress everyone in shades of that color:
