Parents

I love it when parents want to be in photographs with their children. These are pictures that will be so treasured in years to come. I don’t know of anyone who wishes they had been in fewer pictures with their kids (I know I’ve been behind the camera and not in front of it far too often!). Love some of the interactions that were captured of the G. family- a few collages of them and of Mr. B. and Miss H. (who had to show me her dance moves)-

Kenya- 40 pounds later

A little puppy no longer- what a difference 5 months makes in a puppy’s size! Here’s Kenya at 7 months. He’s an absolute sweetheart (although a bit impulsive and scatterbrained yet!) and we’ve loved getting to know him. First, a collage with pictures from 2 months to now-

His wonderful eye contact (usually because he’s working for a treat!)-

And the other thing he does while waiting for that treat or for dinner- he’s a mega-drooler!

Another sweet newborn | Kalamazoo newborn photographer

She was a perfect combination of wide awake and sound asleep. This was her one month birthday, and I doubted that she would sleep for me, but she did! Isn’t she adorable?

Big sisters | Kalamazoo newborn photographer

Miss M. makes three sweet little girls for this family. Her sisters were so good with her- it was such fun to watch how careful they were and how eager to see her and hold her. They’re going to be great big sisters!

Beautiful boy

Such a beautiful newborn boy- just look at those huge dark eyes and those sweet lips. He was so calm and alert and determined to be awake- as the youngest of four, there’s always something to entertain you! We did eventually talk him into napping, though-

A puppy at home | Kalamazoo dog photographer

I wasn’t too familiar with Bedlinton terrier puppies until I met Mr. F. and his big sister, but I’m a fan of them now. They were both exuberant and friendly, and their soft fur makes them so cuddly. And those big dark eyes! They live in a beautiful Victorian home, and it was so much fun to find spots around the house to photograph them-

Golden puppy

More of a ‘review’ than a preview, since I’m so behind in blogging, but had to post a few of the adorable Teddy and his kids-
