For styling her family so perfectly! I just love the coordination of these outfits (down to shoes!) and the way they fit into the fall scenery. And could these boys be any cuter? I don’t think so!

He’s the perfect picture of why I like to get my camera on a newborn early- they love to be folded up and they can sleep so soundly! He loved his Daddy holding him (and this is baby #4- can you tell Dad’s a pro?!) -

love the peel-y newborn skin, too

Up until now, I’ve told parents that I’ve never been outlasted by a newborn. ‘They always sleep eventually’, I’ve said. Well, I can’t say that any more! Mr. S. had a tummyache and was miserable, and had no intention of sleeping. His parents were amazingly patient, but we had no luck getting that big green pacifier out of his mouth without lots of crying. So, we called it a day. And the next time I came, he was a different baby- slept soundly. So worth it to try again!
Just love the contrast of Dad’s big hands and tiny baby-

And even when he was awake he was content- this look just makes me smile!

I photographed these darling girls in February and we were outside in the snow. Now we were able to use their Grandma’s beautiful yard next door for a completely different looking session. I drooled over all the lovely spots she has tucked away right out her front door-

(Grandma also has great taste in clothes, and picked out some perfect outfits)

Miss E. put this dress on, twirled a bit and said, “Oh! I could just marry myself in this dress!” See why I love what I do?!
