I know I’ve said it before, but I love this age- sitting up, smiley, lots of personality. And look at Miss P.’s sparkling eyes and those adorably chubby thighs- don’t you just want to squeeze them?!

Welcome to the blog! I'm a baby and children's photographer in Kalamazoo, Michigan (and surrounding areas). Here you'll find previews of the latest sessions here, news, a few ramblings and probably a puppy picture or two!
I know I’ve said it before, but I love this age- sitting up, smiley, lots of personality. And look at Miss P.’s sparkling eyes and those adorably chubby thighs- don’t you just want to squeeze them?!

Some people have a gift for coordinating outfits, and even more difficult, a whole family’s outfits. I’m not one of those people. So I am super grateful whenever I find a source for inspiring ideas, and I found some great ones the other day. The wonderful people at Inspire Me Baby have generously put together some great ideas that I’ll be sharing here. I love this family grouping- the soft color palette, the way things ‘go’ but don’t ‘match’, the way it looks easy to wear but still sophisticated. I think it would be easy to take elements of this and adapt them to any family look-
A year old and curious about everything in the world around her- outside is the place to be at this age! Just loved the garden we were able to use in Miss J.’s yard-

Her cousin jumped in for a few- it’s clear that good looks and charm run in the family!

I’ve photographed both of these adorable girls since they were newborns, and they just keep getting cuter!

We went inside, too, to recreate an image that we’d done of S. at the same age K. is now- and I love this one of the two of them together-

We did her mom’s maternity session outside, so it was only fitting that we take ‘Sprout’, as she’s affectionately known, outside for part of her newborn session-

Doesn’t she have great hair and cheeks?!

Oh my gosh, how cute is she!?! That first image is just too cute! And her eyes just sparkle in the second image. Great job!
She is so adorable! I love the first image- she looks so easy going!
She is so adorable…beautiful color, just lovely!
Love that head band. She’s a sweetheart.
So cute!!! I think the first is my favorite!
Such a cutie! Love your chair;)
Oh, what a doll! I love the colors in that first one….great captures!
She is DARLING!!!
She is a DOLL!!! Bet her mom loves showing her those pictures in a bunch of years when chubby thighs aren’t so cute (and probably aren’t so chubby, either!!).
Amazing Teag! Super Cute!!!! Love em!
