He had me at hello, with his heart-melting smile and big dark eyes-

This is the view moms always have of their babies, and even though his mom didn’t really want to be in the pictures with him, I’m glad she agreed to this one-

and we even managed to sneak in a sleeping baby picture at the end-

Adorable baby and shots!

aubrey | portage newborn photographer

Aubrey was just a bit older than the usual newborn I photograph, but she was a dream baby! The bonus side of her 8 weeks was her perfect creamy skin and a little added filling out- isn’t she gorgeous?

her sister was full of bounce and energy, but was so patient and sweet with her:

Love the wide eyed looks, too!

grace | kalamazoo baby photography

I know I’ve said it before, but oh, how I love the six to nine month age! They have a whole new perspective on the world when they’re sitting up, and they’re generally full of joy and personality. Grace is a perfect example- smiley, willing to change clothes a few times (and looking adorable in every outfit)-

I just love the fact that her mom wanted to be in a few with her. Moms just don’t get in front of the camera enough, and moms, your kids are going to love seeing pictures of you with them when they’re older!

nicolas | newborn photography

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph his older brother and his two cousins. Four boys within a few years- can you imagine how much fun those reunions are going to be?! Nicolas is more laid back than his brother at this age, which is very helpful : ).  He’s every bit as cute, though-

doubly blessed | allegan newborn photographer

Just two short years ago, I photographed this dad with his newborn son, and loved the combination of his tattoos and his new baby so much that it’s still on my website.  They recently welcomed twin sisters into their family, so of course we had to incorporate the ink again! Just one for now- a new favorite for me. Congratulations, B. family- you are blessed, indeed
