Jennifer, the owner since Oct. of 2015, travels the country to find special things to carry. She’s passionate about bringing top quality and one-of-a-kind items to the area, and carries brands you won’t find anywhere else in Kalamazoo- or on Amazon, for that matter. Recent buying trips have taken her to Dallas, New York and Chicago, and boxes of new things for spring are arriving daily. She says she often buys just one of every size of a clothing item, so that it will truly be special in our area.
Their clothing is sized for kids from newborn to age 7, and ranges from play clothes to school clothing to special dressier items. The shoe selection is amazing- I was just sorry they didn’t come in my size : ).
Little Sprout also carries heirloom, educational toys- beautifully made things that will be passed down to your children’s kids. I don’t think I saw anything that needed batteries- their toys are powered by imagination.
They also stock organic products, and many made-in-the-USA things, with a goal of making even more available. The work of local artisans is available there, too- cute jewelry, handmade ties, adorable child-sized aprons and more.
They pride themselves on excellent customer service, and can help you choose outfits that coordinate without matching (perfect for family photo sessions!), find a birthday or baby gift, or set up a baby registry.
