There was a huge thunderstorm threatening the day of T.J.’s newborn session- the air was humid and still and the clouds were so thick in the afternoon that the streetlights were on. It was cozy in his Jackson house, though, and he slept peacefully even when the lightening and thunder started up outside. He slept so soundly that we were able to get lots of great images of him. We added his dad in after he got home from work, and I just love the ‘two Tims’ together. I always love daddy and son newborn pictures- the way they show how truly tiny babies are, and the tenderness you can see in a new dad’s hold. His dad took a few for the team without complaint- that shot of T.J. lying naked on his dad’s back? The third try after a few cleanups ; ). I think even Tim would say it was worth it!
