Her mom’s wish for her newborn session? Lots and lots of pink, since Charlotte’s due date was Valentine’s Day. Since I have a large (!) variety of pinks to use, that was an easy wish to grant. Charlotte looked adorable in every pink thing we used- absolutely her color. I guess that’s appropriate for a Valentine’s Day baby!

I’d met her mom and dad while doing their maternity pictures, at one of my favorite snowy maternity photo sessions ever. This time her grandma was there to help, and she had the magic touch with Charlotte. The few times she fussed, we decided she needed a little ‘grandma time’, and it settled her right down. Another reason I love to visit clients in their homes…familiar surroundings and favorite people around definitely help to create an atmosphere that babies love.
