Her dad spent so much time at my house when he was little that I made sure my supply of his favorite Disappearing Marshmallow Brownies never got too low. He spent hours in the sandbox with my son, playing with Tonka trucks and playing ‘army’ with GI Joe vehicles. Luckily, the time they decided to experiment with firecrackers in the in-ground pool happened at his house! So his family feels like part of our family, and I was thrilled to hear they were expecting another baby. Sofia is their second, and she’s a dark-haired beauty. Her brother Rico is a mini-me of his daddy, and every bit as mischievous as his dad, too. For a while we didn’t think we were going to get the picture his mom really wanted of the two of them together.
