Kalamazoo baby and family expo 2014

Have a case of cabin fever? After this winter’s snow and cold, I think almost everyone in the Kalamazoo area does! Well, I have just the thing to cure that housebound feeling! Join me this Sunday, Feb. 9, at the Kalamazoo Baby and Family Expo. This super-fun, FREE event includes a bounce castle, music, magic, exhibits, prizes and more. 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., Radisson Plaza Hotel in downtown Kalamazoo. It’s perfect for pregnancy – age 10.

I’ve been at this event for many years, and it just keeps getting better and better. The musical groups, balloon artists and face painters there last year were top notch. There’s a wide variety of booths- photographers (of course!), schools, farms, kids’ activities, pregnancy resources, and more. Many door prizes and booth contests for giveaways, too.

If you get a chance to go, stop by and see me at my booth (and enter the drawing for a free session and 11×14 print while you’re there!). I have new pictures and a new album for my display that I’m so excited about, and you may even see a familiar face in there! Last year I got the chance to take a picture of a number of ‘grown up kids’ by their baby pictures- so fun! And if you need one more reason to visit, I think I have the best chocolate in the room : ).

Just head downtown to the Radisson Hotel and head down the elevator to the lower level once you’re through the front door. There’s some on-street parking available, and a large parking garage directly across the street. The weather’s supposed to be better (at least no new snow), so hopefully we’ll all be able to get out.
